Copperas Cove was founded in the 1870’s as a small rural ranching and farming community. The name was inspired by the water taken from a nearby spring that had a mineral taste to it. Today, Copperas Cove is the largest city in Coryell County with over 30,000 residents. Laying along Fort Hood’s western border, Copperas Cove is the favored destination for many of our military residents. It also features many acreage properties and homesites, paying homage to this town’s rural roots. Known as the City of Five Hills, many of the properties located in Cove boast stunning views of the area while still available at reasonable prices.
